SALVATION

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:20

it's all about jesus

At Ridge Church, it's all about Jesus. Therefore, we believe that life is best lived in fellowship, communion and relationship with Jesus. We believe that when people encounter Jesus, they will never be the same. And we believe that for you, also.

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road."

Mark 10:52

Jesus Christ is God’s Son and an equal of the Father. He has existed from the beginning of time, yet lived on earth during the first century A.D. Throughout His earthly life, He was completely God and completely human at the same time. After living a perfect, sinless life, Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for every human being who has ever lived by dying on a Roman cross. After three days in the grave, He defeated sin and death by rising from the grave. He then ascended to Heaven and will return to earth one day to reign as King.

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

Luke 19:10

Our disobedient nature has eternally separated us from our Creator. No matter how hard we try, we can never earn our way back into God’s presence. Our only hope is to trust Jesus as God’s provision for our disobedience. When you make that decision, you step into the eternal and abundant life Jesus promises for all believers.

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—"

Ephesians 2:4-5

Jesus has not come to save you and make you better, rather, He has come to make you new. He died to pay the debt of our sins, God raised him from that death to give us salvation, and He has ascended into heaven continuing the process of making us holy.

If you believe that, commit to following him, your life will never be the same. It won't be better-- it will be new. It's as simple of repenting of sin (turning from sin and turning to Jesus) declaring you want to follow Jesus as Savior and believing that He is who he says he is and that he will do all he has promised he would do.

This is just the start! We want to help you grow in your faith and following of Jesus!
